Gym fees in Navi Mumbai, by type of gym
Gym fees in Navi Mumbai are less visible online than in Mumbai or Thane. No major chain we checked published a Navi Mumbai membership price in October 2026, and the main price guides treat the city as part of Mumbai. The table sets out what can be checked, from free to paid, as a monthly figure.
| Type of gym | Price | Per month | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open-air gym, Veer Savarkar Udyan, Vashi | Free entry | ₹0 | LBB |
| Central Park, Kharghar (walking track, open ground) | No entrance fee | ₹0 | Wikipedia |
| Society or complex gym | Inside your maintenance charges | Nothing extra | Ask your society |
| Fitpass multi-gym plans | ₹1,750 or ₹2,083 a month | ₹1,750–2,083 | Fitpass |
| Budget gym, Mumbai-region estimate | From about ₹1,500 a month | ₹1,500 and up | magicpin, 2026 |
| Mid-range gym, Mumbai-region estimate | ₹2,500–4,000 a month | ₹2,500–4,000 | magicpin, 2026 |
Free open gyms in Navi Mumbai: Vashi and Kharghar
If you searched for an open gym in Navi Mumbai, the best-known one is in Vashi. LBB’s guide to open-air workout spots describes Veer Savarkar Udyan in Vashi as “Mumbai’s first open-air gym”, with abs developers, hip twisters, air walkers, leg and chest presses and parallel bars. It lists the gym as open every day from 5.30 AM to 10.30 PM, free for everyone aged 10 and above. LBB’s guide is undated, so confirm the hours before you rely on them.
Kharghar’s answer is space rather than machines. Central Park covers about 119 hectares (290 acres) across sectors 23 to 25, with a main walking track of about 1.5 km, cricket and football grounds, and open lawns with room for a bodyweight circuit. It has been open to the public since January 2010 with no entrance fee, and Wikipedia lists its hours as 6 to 9 AM and 5 to 8 PM.
Outdoor machines are good for moving more and for light strength work, but you can’t add load to them as you get stronger. Use them alongside a plan rather than instead of one. Our guide to running tracks in Navi Mumbai covers walking and running routes in more detail.
NMMC or Panvel: who runs your node
Navi Mumbai isn’t run by one civic body, and that matters if you’re looking for a municipal gym or sports facility. CIDCO planned the city from 1971 as a set of nodes. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, constituted in December 1991, took over seven of them: Airoli, Ghansoli, Kopar Khairane, Vashi, Sanpada, Nerul and CBD Belapur. Kharghar, Kamothe, Kalamboli, New Panvel and Ulwe are administered by the Panvel Municipal Corporation, with CIDCO still the planning authority.
| Nodes | Civic body | Free training space we could verify |
|---|---|---|
| Airoli, Ghansoli, Kopar Khairane | Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation | None verified; ask the ward office |
| Vashi, Sanpada | Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation | Open-air gym at Veer Savarkar Udyan, Vashi |
| Nerul, CBD Belapur | Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation | None verified; ask the ward office |
| Kharghar, Kamothe, Kalamboli | Panvel Municipal Corporation (CIDCO plans) | Central Park, Kharghar, no entrance fee |
| New Panvel, Ulwe | Panvel Municipal Corporation (CIDCO plans) | None verified; ask the ward office |
So a resident of Nerul and a resident of Kharghar are asking different corporations about parks, gardens and sports facilities. We couldn’t find a published gym fee schedule from either corporation when we checked in October 2026. If you’ve heard of a civic gym or open gym in your sector, the ward office of the corporation that runs your node is the place to ask for current fees and timings.
Society gyms in Seawoods, Kharghar and Ulwe
Many of the newer towers in Seawoods, Kharghar, Kamothe and Ulwe come with a society gym, paid for through maintenance. Some are generous by Mumbai standards, with room for a rack, a bench and a cable station; others are a treadmill and a dumbbell rack in a basement. Before paying for a commercial membership, look at what yours has:
- Equipment: dumbbells up to around 20 kg, an adjustable bench and a cable or pulley station are enough for months of beginner and intermediate progress.
- Hours: check whether the gym is open at 6 AM, before a Harbour line commute, and after 8 PM.
- Rules: ask the association whether tenants pay a separate charge, whether guests are allowed and whether an outside trainer can coach you there.
If the kit is there, the cheapest upgrade is coaching rather than a second gym. Personal Gym Training in Navi Mumbai puts a coach on live video in your society gym, planning each session around what’s on the floor.
Chains and gym passes in Navi Mumbai: what’s listed and what isn’t
- Gold's Gym: its own branch locator, checked in October 2026, listed no Navi Mumbai branch, although magicpin’s Mumbai gym guide names Vashi among Gold's locations. Trust the official list, and if you find a Gold's in your node, ask whether it’s a current branch and what it charges.
- Cult.fit: its Mumbai page links to gyms in Vashi and Kharghar, but no Navi Mumbai centre or price loaded on it when we checked. Check the Cult app with your node selected for current options and prices.
- Fitpass: a single membership for partner gyms. Its Navi Mumbai page’s area list includes Airoli, Ghansoli, Kopar Khairane, Vashi, Sanpada, Nerul, Seawoods, Belapur, Kharghar, Kamothe, Kalamboli, New Panvel, Taloja and Ulwe, with FITPASS 180 at ₹1,750 a month and FITPASS 360 at ₹2,083 a month. The gyms it showed first were in Mumbai, so check there’s a partner gym in your node before you pay.
- Independent gyms: most gyms in Vashi, Nerul and Kharghar are independent and share prices only at the desk.
Search results for the best gym in Navi Mumbai with fees mostly lead to Mumbai lists. A sensible approach is to shortlist two or three gyms within walking distance of home or your station, visit each at the hour you’ll train, and ask for written prices for one, three, six and twelve months.
A gym near home, or across the creek?
Many Navi Mumbai residents work in Mumbai, so it’s worth comparing a gym in your node with one near the office. Gold's Gym’s Lower Parel branch, for example, listed an annual membership of ₹22,245 in October 2026, including a ₹1,000 enrolment fee and 5% GST, about ₹1,855 a month. That’s close to what a Fitpass plan costs, for one gym rather than many.
The price is only half the question. A gym near the office works on days you leave on time; a gym or society gym at home works on the days the Harbour line or the creek bridge doesn’t cooperate. Most people keep the habit better at the end that’s closest to their front door. If you split your week, a multi-gym pass that covers both sides of the creek may be the better buy.
Monthly or yearly: the Navi Mumbai maths
With so few published prices in Navi Mumbai, the maths comes down to asking the right questions. Using the figures we could check:
- Fitpass 180 for twelve months: about ₹21,000 at ₹1,750 a month, if the price holds.
- Fitpass 360 for twelve months: about ₹25,000 at ₹2,083 a month.
- An annual plan at a Mumbai office gym like Gold's Lower Parel: ₹22,245, about ₹1,855 a month if you go all year, or about ₹5,560 a month if you stop after four.
- A society gym plus the open-air gym in Vashi or a Central Park walk: nothing beyond maintenance.
An annual plan is cheapest per month only if you finish it. If you’re new to training, buy the shortest plan a gym will sell you, then renew for longer once the habit sticks. Our national guide to gym membership fees in India explains refunds and your rights if a gym doesn’t deliver.
Joining fees, GST and freezes: what to ask in Navi Mumbai
- GST is 5%. The GST Council cut the rate on gym and health club services from 18% to 5%, without input tax credit, from 22 September 2025, PTI reported. If a Navi Mumbai gym quotes 18%, ask why.
- Joining fees. Gold's adds ₹1,000 at Lower Parel; ask every gym whether it charges an admission fee and whether it’s waived on a longer plan.
- Freezes. Ask how many days you can pause, and get it in writing. A monsoon month or a work trip without a freeze is a month paid for nothing.
- What the fee covers. Air-conditioning, lockers, a floor trainer’s basic plan and access to group classes vary from gym to gym.
- Trainer costs. One-to-one coaching is extra. Our guide to personal trainer fees in Navi Mumbai covers those prices separately.
Coaching on top of any gym costs ₹799 a session with us, or ₹7,070 for 12; see our pricing page. If you’d rather train in your flat, Personal Home Training in Navi Mumbai needs only a mat, and online personal training in Navi Mumbai explains how our sessions work in every node.
