Gym fees in Delhi per month, by type of gym
Delhi is unusual among Indian cities because a government body publishes gym prices. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) runs fitness centres inside its sports complexes and small multigyms in parks, and lists the rates on its website. That gives Delhi a floor that most cities don't have. The table puts those published rates next to Gold's Gym's branch prices and a deals platform's estimates for private gyms. Everything was checked on 27 October 2026.
| Type of gym | Published or estimated price | Per month | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| DDA park multigym (West, North, East Delhi) | ₹1,239 a month, 1 hour a day | ₹1,239 | DDA |
| DDA park multigym (South Delhi) | ₹1,360 a month, 1 hour a day | ₹1,360 | DDA |
| DDA fitness centre, Saket or Siri Fort, members | ₹2,082 a month or ₹18,580 a year | ₹1,548–2,082 | DDA |
| DDA fitness centre, non-members | ₹3,737 (Saket) or ₹4,449 (Siri Fort) a month | ₹3,737–4,449 | DDA |
| Budget or local gym | ₹1,500–2,500 a month | ₹1,500–2,500 | magicpin, 2026 |
| Gold's Gym, annual plan | ₹19,490–₹40,999 a year | about ₹1,625–3,415 | Gold's Gym India |
| Premium chains | ₹4,000–7,000 a month | ₹4,000–7,000 | magicpin, 2026 |
| FITPASS multi-gym pass | ₹1,750 or ₹2,083 a month | ₹1,750–2,083 | FITPASS |
The cheapest weights in Delhi are therefore not at a budget gym but at a DDA multigym in a district park, and a full fitness centre at Siri Fort costs members about what magicpin expects a local gym above a market to charge. The catch, covered below, is the one-time membership fee that DDA complexes charge before you get the member rate.
DDA sports complex gym fees: Saket, Siri Fort and the rest
DDA says it has built 15 sports complexes and three mini sports complexes in Delhi, and that complexes at Saket, Siri Fort, Vasant Kunj, Paschim Vihar, Rohini, Pitampura, Dilshad Garden, Jasola, Yamuna, Chilla, Dwarka and Munirka (Baba Gang Nath) have full fitness centres. Only some publish their gym rates online. The Saket and Siri Fort pages do, and their member rates are almost identical:
| Period | Members | Non-members | Works out per month (members) |
|---|---|---|---|
| One day | ₹204.66 | ₹373.72 | Not applicable |
| One month | ₹2,082.20 | ₹3,737.28 | ₹2,082 |
| Three months | ₹5,712.70 | Not listed | about ₹1,904 |
| Six months | ₹10,357.62 | Not listed | about ₹1,726 |
| One year | ₹18,579.65 | Not listed | about ₹1,548 |
Siri Fort Sports Complex lists the same member rates and charges non-members more: ₹444.90 a day or ₹4,449.14 a month. The Saket fitness centre is run by DDA itself and opens six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday, from 6 AM to noon and 4 to 9 PM. Saket's table says its rates include GST at 18%.
The membership you pay for first
The member rate needs a complex membership, and that's where most of the cost sits. At Saket, individual membership costs a one-time entry fee of ₹15,190 for government employees or ₹30,370 for everyone else, plus a ₹330 monthly subscription. A temporary three-month membership costs ₹3,040, and a casual day pass ₹100. Siri Fort is dearer: a ₹1,20,000 general entry fee, or a one-year tenure membership at ₹18,900 (₹9,450 for government employees).
So, for a private-sector Delhiite who only wants the gym, the honest sums at Saket look like this. Paying as a non-member costs ₹3,737 a month. Taking the three-month temporary membership (₹3,040) and then paying the member rate would cost about ₹9,290 for three months, roughly ₹3,100 a month, but ask the complex whether temporary members are charged the member gym rate before you count on it. The lifetime membership only pays off if you'll use the complex's courts and pool for years.
DDA park multigyms: ₹1,239 a month, and why South Delhi pays more
Outside the big complexes, DDA runs small multigyms in district parks: 21 in green areas, by its own count, plus 19 inside sports complexes and the Qutab Golf Course. DDA describes the park gyms as roughly 10 metres by 10 metres with more than 20 stations, open in a morning and an evening session, with separate ladies' timings posted on a board outside. The fee is for one hour a day.
| Zone and examples | Per day | Per month (1 hour daily) |
|---|---|---|
| West: Vikas Puri C Block, Janakpuri C-2B, Sunder Vihar, Bindapur, Tagore Garden | ₹88.50 | ₹1,239 |
| North: Gulabi Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Prasad Nagar, Rohini Sector III | ₹88.50 | ₹1,239 |
| East: Mandawali Fazalpur, Subhash Mohalla, Gokulpuri (Shahdara) | ₹88.50 | ₹1,239 |
| South Delhi park multigyms | ₹100 an hour | ₹1,360 |
| Sarita Vihar District Park, near the Metro station | ₹130 | ₹1,770 |
This is the clearest published South-versus-rest gap in Delhi: ₹121 a month at the park gyms, and ₹531 at Sarita Vihar, whose page lists a longer equipment list, including Olympic benches and a Smith machine. The West Delhi park gyms list free weights, an Olympic bench, a chin-up bar and a six-station machine. That's enough for a beginner's full-body plan, though not for heavy barbell work. Personal gym training in Delhi is built for exactly this kind of gym: a coach on video plans each session around the kit in the room.
NDMC gyms, Lodhi Garden and open gyms in Delhi parks
In the New Delhi Municipal Council area, NDMC lists 13 gyms of its own: a multipurpose gym in Laxmibai Nagar, a multipurpose hall in Kaka Nagar and porta-cabin gyms in Sarojini Nagar, R.K. Puram Sector 10, Moti Bagh, Gol Market and two spots off Lodhi Road. Most open from 6 to 10 AM and 4 to 9 PM. The page gives the in-charge's phone number but no fees, so ask before you go.
For free training, Lodhi Garden and Delhi's other big parks are the obvious places for a brisk walk, intervals or a bodyweight circuit. Searches for an open gym in a Delhi park are common, and outdoor exercise equipment is a familiar sight in colony parks, but we couldn't find a current official list of which parks have it, so check your own. Outdoor machines are fine for moving more; they can't be loaded heavier as you get stronger. For loops and distances, see our guide to running tracks in Delhi.
Gold's Gym fees in Delhi, branch by branch
Gold's Gym is the one private chain that publishes Delhi prices, as an annual membership on its Delhi locations page. Seven branches were listed when we checked:
| Branch | Area | Annual price listed | Works out per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Greater Kailash | South | ₹19,490 | about ₹1,624 |
| Janakpuri | West | ₹19,490 | about ₹1,624 |
| Dwarka (Palam Extension, Sector 7) | South West | ₹22,810 (₹25,000 before offer) | about ₹1,901 |
| Rajouri Garden | West | ₹37,136 | about ₹3,095 |
| Aurobindo Marg (Adchini) | South | ₹40,000 | about ₹3,333 |
| Sainik Farms | South | ₹40,000 | about ₹3,333 |
| Lajpat Nagar | South | ₹40,999 (₹41,000 before offer) | about ₹3,417 |
Branch checkout pages add a ₹1,000 enrolment fee and 5% GST. At Lajpat Nagar that takes ₹40,999 to ₹44,099. The table also shows that "South Delhi costs more" is only half true: Greater Kailash, in South Delhi, ties with Janakpuri for the cheapest Gold's in the city, while Lajpat Nagar, Sainik Farms and Aurobindo Marg, also in the south, are the dearest. Gold's site labels Greater Kailash and Janakpuri as "Corporate" gyms and the others as "General", which may explain more of the gap than the postcode. None of the Delhi pages offered a monthly plan, so ask if you want one.
Other Delhi gyms and chains: what's published and what isn't
Most Delhi gyms are single-branch businesses that don't publish prices online. magicpin, a deals platform, gives the most useful estimate in its Delhi guide (prices marked approximate as of April 2026): ₹1,500–2,500 a month for budget and local gyms, ₹2,500–4,000 for mid-range chains, ₹4,000–7,000 for premium chains, and ₹2,000–4,000 for MMA or CrossFit gyms. It puts Anytime Fitness in Vikaspuri at about ₹2,500–4,000 a month. These are secondary estimates, not quotes.
- Cult.fit. magicpin lists Cult in Delhi from ₹9,990 a month for unlimited classes, a figure far above every other chain in its own table. We couldn't open a Cult page with a Delhi price, so check the app.
- Vault and other premium franchises. We couldn't find published membership prices for Vault gyms in Delhi. Ask for a written quote that shows the plan length, joining fee and GST.
- Gym passes. FITPASS sells one membership for partner gyms in many cities, at ₹1,750 a month (FITPASS 180) or ₹2,083 (FITPASS 360). A pass suits someone whose week is split between, say, a Pitampura home and a Connaught Place office.
Premium clubs: what Qutab Golf Course's gym costs
Delhi's old clubs sit at the top of the market, and DDA publishes those prices too. In May 2025 DDA opened 200 memberships to the fitness centre at the Qutab Golf Course clubhouse on Press Enclave Road, PTI reported. The monthly fee is ₹1,320 for the government category and ₹1,980 for others, excluding GST, but only after an entry fee: ₹5.50 lakh (government) or ₹16.50 lakh (non-government) for life, or ₹1.65 lakh or ₹4.95 lakh for three years. Membership includes an air-conditioned gym with trainers' guidance, sauna, steam and lockers.
Spread over three years, the non-government entry fee alone works out to about ₹13,750 a month before the monthly fee. That's a club membership with a gym attached, not a gym membership.
Monthly, quarterly or annual: the Delhi maths
DDA's member rates show the usual pattern clearly. Paying ₹2,082 every month for a year costs about ₹24,986. The annual rate is ₹18,580, about 26% less. But the annual plan only wins if you keep going:
- Stop after four months on the annual plan and you've paid about ₹4,645 a month, more than double the monthly rate.
- The three-month plan at ₹5,713 (about ₹1,904 a month) is the safer first step if you've never kept a gym habit through a Delhi summer or smog season.
- Gold's annual-only pricing puts all of the risk on you, so visit at your training hour before paying ₹20,000–44,000 up front.
GST, entry fees and pausing a membership
- GST. The GST Council cut the rate on gym and fitness services from 18% to 5%, without input tax credit, from 22 September 2025, PTI reported. Gold's Delhi checkout pages now add 5%. Several DDA tables still say "GST @18% included", while Siri Fort's newer coaching rates show 5%, so ask the complex which rate your fee includes.
- Entry and enrolment fees. Gold's adds ₹1,000. DDA complexes charge one-time membership fees from ₹3,040 (three-month temporary, Saket) to ₹1,20,000 (Siri Fort general).
- Pausing. Saket lists an absentee membership at ₹110 a month (₹70 for dependants), a cheap way to hold a DDA membership while you're away. Gold's Delhi pages don't state a freeze policy; ask for it in writing.
Before you pay for a Delhi gym: a checklist
- 1
Plan for November to January
When winter air turns poor, the gym becomes your main workout. Visit before you join and check ventilation and whether the windows stay shut on bad-air days.
- 2
Check the summer hours too
DDA's Munirka multigym lists air conditioning; many park gyms are basic rooms. A May evening in an un-cooled gym is a different workout.
- 3
Match the timings to your day
Saket's fitness centre is closed on Mondays and between noon and 4 PM. Park multigyms run separate ladies' sessions. Gold's branches open from 5 or 6 AM to 10 or 11 PM.
- 4
Use the Metro
Gold's Rajouri Garden and Greater Kailash both list Metro stations next door. A gym on your way home from the station gets used; one across the Ring Road doesn't.
- 5
Ask what help is included
Floor staff help with machines; one-to-one coaching is extra. Our guide to personal trainer fees in Delhi covers what that costs.
For how Delhi compares with other cities, read our national guide to gym membership fees in India. If you'd rather train in your flat through the smog weeks, personal home training in Delhi needs only a mat. Our pricing page shows what coaching costs on top of a gym, and online personal training in Delhi explains how live sessions work here.
