Gym fees in Nagpur: every published price we found

Gym access and personal coaching are separate parts of the budget.
Gym access and personal coaching are separate parts of the budget.

Most Nagpur gyms don't put their fees online. They quote at the desk, and the quote changes with the season and the length of plan you're willing to sign. So instead of an average nobody can check, this page collects every Nagpur gym price we could trace to a dated source, checked in October 2026, and says plainly where a figure is a report rather than a rate card.

The spread is wide because these are different products. An akhada in Mahal, a neighbourhood weights gym in Ganesh Peth and a chain centre with group classes in Dharampeth all count as a gym in a search for gym fees in Nagpur, but they don't compete with each other. Work out which kind you want first, then compare prices within that kind.

cult.fit Dharampeth: Nagpur's one published chain price list

cult.fit's Dharampeth centre, on West High Court Road, is the only cult.fit gym the brand listed for Nagpur in October 2026, and the only Nagpur chain gym we found with its full price list online. It opened in December 2021 as the brand's first centre in the city, according to The Hitavada. Its ELITE plans, as shown on the centre page:

PlanPricePer monthPause days included
1 month₹10,104₹10,104None listed
3 months₹17,690₹5,89710
6 months₹22,890₹3,81525
12 months₹27,990₹2,33345
24 months₹44,790₹1,86690
12 months, All India access₹29,490₹2,45860

The table shows how hard cult.fit pushes long plans in Nagpur. One month costs more than four times the monthly rate of a year, and a year costs less than three single months. Plans of three months and longer add a Kickstart pack with two one-to-one trainer sessions, and the centre lists group formats including strength, HIIT, yoga and dance fitness alongside the gym floor. It's open 6 AM to 10 PM, with bike and car parking.

The All India plan costs ₹1,500 more than the standard year and adds unlimited access to centres in other cities. That's worth it if you're in Pune, Mumbai or Hyderabad every month for work. If you rarely leave Nagpur, the standard year already includes 30 sessions in other cities.

NMC sports complexes: Nagpur's municipal gym rate

Nagpur Municipal Corporation's sports complexes are the closest the city has to a public gym, but their current fees aren't published. The last rate we found is from June 2019, when The Hitavada reported that NMC had proposed uniform monthly charges across six complexes, including Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Sankul, Vivekanand Nagar Krida Sankul and Dr Ambedkar Krida Sankul. The proposed gymnasium charge was ₹650 a month per member, alongside ₹500 for badminton and ₹800 for swimming.

The same report said NMC couldn't afford to run the complexes itself and planned to hand them to private agencies for three years, so the operator, and the fee, may have changed since. In July 2023, The Hitavada reported that a gym was being set up at the Vivekanand Nagar complex, the indoor stadium in south-west Nagpur that opened in 2014, with badminton players paying ₹1,000 a month. The complex's administrator said he hoped the gym would charge the same, but that wasn't confirmed.

If a municipal gym suits you, call or visit the complex nearest you and ask three things: the current monthly fee, the hours members can use the gym, and whether a trainer is on the floor. A rate that was ₹650 or ₹1,000 a few years ago would still be among the cheapest gym options in Nagpur.

Akhadas and vyayam shalas: Nagpur's cheapest strength training

Nagpur still has traditional vyayam shalas, and they cost a fraction of a commercial gym. Nagpur Vyayam Shala in Mahal, established in 1918, charged a nominal ₹200 a month when The Hitavada visited in June 2023. Its centrepiece is a mud pit the paper called the biggest in the Vidarbha region, used for kushti and kabaddi, and it runs general exercise sessions too.

The same article noted that Nagpur had around 65 akhadas a few decades ago and only a few have survived. An akhada is a good fit if you want bodyweight strength, wrestling or a community that trains together early in the morning. It's a poor fit if you want a row of squat racks, air-conditioning and machines, so visit before you assume it's a cheaper version of a modern gym.

Neighbourhood gyms in Nagpur: what members report paying

Most Nagpur gyms are independent neighbourhood gyms, and their prices travel by word of mouth. Two dated figures were public in October 2026. A member review of Fitness Courtyard in Ganesh Peth, posted on FITPASS on 27 May 2026, said the fee was ₹4,000 a month or ₹8,000 for three months. A May 2026 listing of Magnus Fitness World on Blogchatter gave memberships from ₹800 a month, without naming the branch or how the price was sourced. Treat both as single reports, not rate cards.

Neither magicpin's April 2026 price guide nor UrbanPro's national fee table gives a Nagpur figure. The nearest Maharashtra benchmark in magicpin's guide is Pune, at ₹600–1,200 a month for a budget gym, ₹1,500–2,800 for a mid-range gym and ₹3,000–5,500 for a premium one. The same guide says most gyms add a one-time registration fee of ₹500–2,000, which is worth asking to have waived.

Gyms on FITPASS's Nagpur page give a sense of where the independent gyms are. The first 18 listed included three Marvel Fitness branches in Laxmi Nagar, Manish Nagar and Trimurti Nagar, two Challenger Gym branches in Dighori, Fit Nation in Mankapur, Black Box in Abhyankar Nagar, House of Fitness in Jaripatka and Millennium Health Club in Dindayal Nagar. Ask each for its monthly and quarterly rate in writing.

FITPASS in Nagpur: when a multi-gym pass is worth it

FITPASS works in Nagpur at the same price it charges nationally: ₹2,083 a month for FITPASS 360 and ₹1,750 a month for FITPASS 180, as shown on its Nagpur gym page in October 2026. It's cheaper than cult.fit's short plans and more than a basic neighbourhood gym, and it suits two kinds of Nagpur member: someone whose day moves between, say, Sadar and Manish Nagar, and someone who wants to try several gyms before committing to one.

Check the studio rules before you count on a gym. Fitness Courtyard's FITPASS page, for example, said Sunday sessions weren't available through the pass. Hours, session limits and Sunday access are set per gym, and they're shown in the FITPASS app.

Before you pay a Nagpur gym: what to check

Check what is included, the terms and the full cost before you commit.
Check what is included, the terms and the full cost before you commit.
  1. Ask for a trial day. Go at the hour you'll actually train. A gym that's empty at 11 AM may have a queue for every bench at 7 PM.
  2. Get the full price in writing, including the registration fee and anything charged for a locker or a diet chart.
  3. Ask about pausing. cult.fit publishes pause days for each plan; a neighbourhood gym may not offer any. If you travel or expect a wedding season off, it matters.
  4. Check the cooling. Nagpur's summer is harsh, and a gym without working air-conditioning or fans empties out in May. Visit on a hot afternoon if you can.
  5. Check parking. Most Nagpur members ride in, so ask where two-wheelers go, especially in crowded markets like Sitabuldi or Itwari.
  6. Ask whether outside trainers are allowed, if you plan to bring your own coach, in person or on video.

Membership plus a coach: the total monthly bill in Nagpur

A gym membership in Nagpur gets you a floor, not a plan. If you want someone to write your program and correct your form, that's a second cost. Here's what a month looks like when you add three live online sessions a week to each type of membership:

MembershipMembership per monthWith 12 coached sessions (₹7,070)
NMC complex at the 2019 proposed rate₹650₹7,720
FITPASS 180₹1,750₹8,820

Fitness Courtyard, reported monthly fee₹4,000₹11,070
One month in Nagpur: membership plus 12 MakeMyFitness Personal Gym Training sessions

Local trainers are the other route. Our guide to personal trainer fees in Nagpur found most independent trainers listing ₹500–1,000 an hour on UrbanPro. Personal Gym Training in Nagpur brings a coach to your gym on video instead, and if you'd rather not pay for a gym at all, Personal Home Training in Nagpur works around whatever space and equipment you have. These are our prices, the same in every city:

Gym fees are only part of the cost of getting fit. Food matters at least as much, and our guide to healthy food in Nagpur covers the local dishes.
