Rajkot's personal training market is mostly independent trainers who set their own prices, plus gym-floor trainers whose fees are agreed at the counter and almost never published. The figures below are everything we could find with a date and a source, checked on 28 October 2026. Where a number is secondary or unconfirmed, the table says so.

What it costs to train with a trainer in Rajkot (checked 28 October 2026)

We found no Rajkot gym, local or chain, that publishes what its floor trainers charge. If you're quoted a personal training fee at a Rajkot gym, compare it with the independent rates on this page and ask how many sessions it covers.

Rajkot trainer rates area by area

UrbanPro's Rajkot personal trainer page showed 25 profiles on its first page when we checked, and 24 listed an hourly rate. Grouped by the locality each trainer gives, they look like this:

LocalityTrainersRates listed12 sessions at the lowest
Raiya Road3₹300, ₹480, ₹500₹3,600
Mota Mava and Nana Mava3₹400, ₹400, ₹500₹4,800
Kalavad Road1₹200₹2,400
Listed only as Rajkot City4₹500, ₹600, ₹700, ₹800₹6,000
Bhakti Nagar, Bhawani Nagar, Kailash Nagar, Malaviya Nagar and 8 other localities12₹154 to ₹650₹1,848
Gandhigram1₹5,000₹60,000
Hourly rates of 24 Rajkot trainers on UrbanPro, grouped by listed locality (28 October 2026)

Across all 24, the rates ran from ₹154 to ₹5,000, the middle was ₹500, and 14 were ₹500 or less. Take away the single ₹5,000 profile and the top is ₹800. Trainers on Raiya Road, Kalavad Road and in Mota and Nana Mava came out cheaper than the trainers listing themselves simply as Rajkot City, who all asked ₹500 or more. That's a small sample, so don't read too much into the geography; the trainer's experience and what the hour includes count for more than the address.

Reading Rajkot's listings: the ₹154 and the ₹5,000

Two Rajkot rates stand out. At the bottom, one trainer near Amin Marg lists ₹154 an hour and another on Kalavad Road ₹200. At the top, one in Gandhigram lists ₹5,000. Neither end tells you much on its own. A very low rate may be for a shared or shorter session, a beginner trainer building a client list, or simply an out-of-date profile. A very high one may be a monthly package typed into an hourly field, a specialist service, or a premium rate for a particular kind of client.

The fix is the same at both ends: before booking, ask the trainer to state in writing how long a session lasts, how many sessions the price covers, and what's included besides the session itself, such as a diet plan, a written program or check-ins between sessions. UrbanPro's average of ₹750 sits above the middle rate of ₹500 partly because of outliers like these, so for budgeting, ₹500 is the more typical Rajkot price.

The cheapest way to train with a coach in Rajkot

Rajkot's municipal gyms are very cheap if the published figures are right, and that changes the maths of hiring a trainer. Here are four ways to put together a month of 12 coached sessions in Rajkot:

SetupCoachingGymMonth total
RMC gym + trainer at ₹400 an hour₹4,800about ₹50about ₹4,850
RMC gym + trainer at ₹500 an hour₹6,000about ₹50about ₹6,050
Ken's Gym annual plan + trainer at ₹750 an hour₹9,000₹1,250₹10,250
RMC gym + MakeMyFitness gym coaching (online)₹7,070about ₹50about ₹7,120
Four ways to buy a coached month in Rajkot (12 sessions; gym fees per month)

Two practical points. The RMC's Race Course gym, according to a BookMyPlayer listing, opens 6–9 AM and 5–8:30 PM, so an in-person trainer has to be free in those windows. And nothing we found says whether an outside trainer may coach you inside an RMC gym; ask before you arrange it. Our guide to gym fees in Rajkot covers the RMC gyms, the Ladies Gym and private prices in detail.

Searches for the best gym trainer in Rajkot mostly lead to gyms, not to individual trainers, and Rajkot gyms rarely publish their personal training fees. When a gym quotes you a monthly trainer fee, these questions turn it into something you can compare with the ₹500-an-hour typical independent rate:

  1. How many sessions a month, and how long is each? ₹6,000 for 12 one-hour sessions is ₹500 an hour; ₹6,000 for 8 is ₹750.
  2. Is it one-to-one, or does the trainer coach several members at once? Floor trainers often do both.
  3. Will the same trainer take every session? Continuity matters more than people expect.
  4. Is the trainer fee on top of membership, and is GST included? Gym services carry 5% GST.
  5. What's the trainer's qualification? Ask to see the certificate.

Our national guide to personal trainer fees in India explains the different kinds of trainer and what normally drives the price.

Splitting the cost: group and shared training in Rajkot

If ₹6,000 a month for one-to-one coaching is more than you want to spend in Rajkot, sharing a trainer is the obvious lever. UrbanPro's Rajkot fee guide puts group training at ₹400–800 an hour, or ₹4,800–9,600 for 12 sessions, against ₹500–1,000 an hour for one-to-one. That's a 20% saving at both ends of the band, not a dramatic one, because you're still paying for an hour of a trainer's time.

The better deal usually comes from training with one other person at the same level. Two friends or a couple sharing a ₹600-an-hour trainer pay ₹300 each, ₹3,600 a head for 12 sessions, and still get close attention. In a bigger group, form correction thins out quickly. If you enjoy team sport more than lifting, the RMC's basketball and volleyball courts are listed in the same independent guide at ₹500 a quarter, which is cheaper still, though it isn't coaching.

Our own small-group classes are live on video, so you join from home: ₹499 a class, or ₹4,040 for 12 on a 4-week plan, about ₹337 a class. That's below the bottom of UrbanPro's Rajkot group band, but above what two friends pay when they split a ₹500 trainer.

Personal fitness trainer at home in Rajkot

UrbanPro prices a personal trainer at home in Rajkot at ₹500–1,000 an hour, or ₹6,000–12,000 for 12 sessions a month, the same band it gives for one-to-one training generally. A home trainer saves you the gym fee but usually prices in travel, so a trainer who lives on Raiya Road may charge more to come out to Kothariya, or may not take the booking at all. Agree the rate for your address before the first session, and ask what happens when you cancel on the day. Home training also needs a little kit. A clear two-metre patch of floor, a mat and a pair of adjustable dumbbells or a set of resistance bands covers most beginner programs; our guide to a dumbbell workout at home shows what that kit can do.

If you want a yoga teacher rather than a strength trainer at home, Rajkot's rates are lower: UrbanPro's Rajkot yoga page averaged ₹450 an hour, with listed rates mostly between ₹200 and ₹600 on its first page.
