Personal trainer fees in Dehradun: the three numbers worth knowing

Personal trainer fees in Dehradun are easier to pin down than in many cities of its size, because UrbanPro carries a large Dehradun list: 273 personal trainers on the day we checked, with the page marked as last updated on 23 October 2026. If you only remember one line: a fair Dehradun hourly fee for a one-to-one trainer sits between ₹500 and ₹800, and anything outside that band needs a reason you can see, such as long experience, a specialism, or a lot of travel.

From ₹150 to ₹2,400: how 24 Dehradun trainers price an hour

Twenty-five trainers appeared on the first page of UrbanPro's Dehradun personal trainer list when we checked it in October 2026, and 24 of them showed an hourly rate. We grouped those rates into bands and kept the locality each profile names, so you can see where in the valley the cheap and dear trainers are based.

Half of the 24 ask ₹500 or less, and the most common single figures are ₹500 and ₹600, four trainers each. Only four go to ₹1,000 or more. Sort them by years of experience and the order falls apart: the trainer with the longest record, 19 years, lists the lowest rate on the page, ₹150 an hour; a trainer in Malsi with 17 years asks ₹800; the ₹1,000 trainer in Jhanda Mohalla has two years. Experience is worth asking about, but in Dehradun it doesn't set the price.

One Jakhan trainer, two prices

Jakhan, on the Rajpur Road side of the city, shows the widest gap. One Jakhan trainer lists ₹600 an hour; another lists ₹2,400, the top of the whole page. The ₹2,400 trainer also appears in UrbanPro's separate Dehradun gym category at ₹455 an hour. A trainer in Harrawala, by contrast, shows ₹200 in both lists. The lesson isn't that anyone is misleading you; a trainer may price a home visit, a specialist program and a gym-floor hour differently. Ask which service the quoted rate is for, and get it in writing.

Gym trainers in Dehradun: the gym-floor hour

If you search for a gym trainer in Dehradun rather than a personal trainer, UrbanPro's gym category is the closer match. On 25 October 2026 it listed 48 Dehradun profiles and set the one-to-one band at ₹500–800 an hour, average ₹650, or ₹6,000–9,600 for 12 sessions. Group gym sessions were ₹400–640 per person an hour.

Only six of the first 25 gym-category profiles showed a rate: ₹200 in Harrawala, ₹455 in Jakhan, ₹500 in Sinola, ₹800 each in Nagachir Doiwala and Dakra Garhi Cantt, and ₹1,200 for a trainer listed simply as Dehradun City. The rest, including trainers in Bidholi, Ladpur, Rajpur, Clement Town and Patel Nagar, left the box blank. Expect to ask.

A trainer who already works the floor of your gym is usually the cheapest in-person option, because there's no travel in the price. Check two things first: whether your gym lets members bring an outside trainer at all, and whether it charges the trainer or you a fee for doing so.

A personal trainer at home in Dehradun

• Mind winter mornings. Foggy, cold early starts make 6 AM visits harder to keep; book a slot you'll still want in January.
