What Indore's listed personal trainers actually charge

Personal trainer fees in Indore are among the few training prices in the city you can see before you call. UrbanPro, a directory of tutors and trainers, said it had 65 gym trainers and gyms in Indore when we checked on 28 October 2026, and six of the profiles it displayed carried an hourly fee. We've left out names, because rates change and we haven't trained with any of them, but the localities, experience and prices are as listed:

Two things stand out. First, UrbanPro's own headline average for the category is ₹650 an hour, a little above the ₹556 you get by averaging these six. Second, price and experience don't line up: the trainer listing 15 years in Navlakha charged ₹400, while one listing two years near Bhanwar Kuwa charged ₹800. In Indore, as elsewhere, an hourly rate tells you about the trainer's market, not their skill. Ask about certification, what a first session involves and how they'll track your progress.

From an hourly rate to a monthly bill in Indore

A personal trainer in Indore usually quotes per session or per month, and the monthly figure depends on how often you train. Here is what the city's listed rates come to across three common schedules. The ₹650 column is UrbanPro's Indore average; the other two are the lower and upper listed fees, rounded to ₹400 and ₹800 for easier maths.

Three sessions a week is a common starting schedule, and it matches UrbanPro's own 12-class monthly range. Remember that a trainer's fee is on top of any gym membership: if your trainer works at a gym, you'll usually pay both. Gym trainers in Indore: chains and neighbourhood gyms

Many people searching for a gym trainer in Indore will end up with the trainer on their own gym's floor. Gold's Gym has two Indore branches, at Bhawarkuan Square and in Vijay Nagar's Scheme No. 54, and both branch pages mention professional trainers, but neither lists a personal training price. We found no published personal training fee for any Indore gym in October 2026.

For a sense of the ceiling, magicpin's personal trainer cost guide, updated May 2026, quotes Gold's Gym personal training at ₹18,000–30,000 a month in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, and Anytime Fitness at ₹12,000–20,000. It gives no Indore figure, and metro prices are usually higher, so read those numbers as an upper bound rather than Indore's rate. Ask your gym three things: the price per session and per package, whether the package expires, and whether you keep the same trainer if shifts change.

• Floor guidance versus personal training. Most Indore gyms have staff who'll show you a machine. That's included in the membership; a planned, supervised programme isn't.
• Package expiry. A 12-session package that must be used in 30 days is easy to lose if you're travelling for a family wedding.
• Freelance trainers inside gyms. Some gyms allow outside trainers, some charge them an entry fee, and some don't allow them at all. Ask before you hire one.

Home-visit personal trainers in Indore

Several UrbanPro profiles in Indore offer home sessions: one on Kanadia Road describes home and online training, one in South Tukoganj mentions home training, and a Vijay Nagar profile offers sessions at home, online or at a gym. UrbanPro's FAQ prices home training the same as other one-to-one sessions, at ₹500–800 an hour. Few of these profiles publish a specific home-visit fee, so ask whether travel is included, especially if you live out towards Rau, Bicholi Mardana or the Super Corridor.

A home trainer suits people who need someone at the door to start. The trade-offs are timing, since a trainer travelling across Indore at 7 AM can only see so many clients, and equipment: most bring little, so check what you'll need to buy.

Ways to pay less for a trainer in Indore

A full month of one-to-one sessions at Indore's ₹650 average is ₹7,800 before any gym fee, which is more than many people want to spend while they're still finding out whether they'll stick with it. These are the ways we've seen the cost come down without losing the point of having a coach:

• Train with a coach twice a week, alone once. Eight coached sessions at ₹650 is ₹5,200, and a third session on your own, following the same plan, keeps you at three a week.
• Book a block, then taper. Four to six weeks of close coaching to learn the lifts, then one check-in session a week, costs far less over a year than a trainer at every session.
• Split a trainer with a friend. UrbanPro's group rate for the platform is ₹400–640 an hour, and a Vijay Nagar profile we saw offers group sessions. Ask an Indore trainer what they charge for two people.
• Use a cheaper gym and spend the difference on coaching. Gold's Bhawarkuan at about ₹1,180 a month leaves more room for a trainer than a club at the top of Numbeo's ₹5,000 Indore range.
• Don't pay for months you won't use. If you travel in the wedding season or around Diwali, buy sessions, not a long package that runs out while you're away.

Personal yoga trainer in Indore

Personal yoga trainers in Indore are a separate market, and we didn't find enough published Indore rates in October 2026 to give a fair range, so we won't guess one. The one government figure we found is state-wide: Madhya Pradesh's sports directorate lists a Pay & Play yoga fee of ₹700 for adults at its current rate and ₹800 at its new rate, which its notes on 5- and 11-month payments suggest is charged by the month, but its page doesn't say which venues run it. 1. Ask for the certification and who issued it. A diploma or a recognised course is a start; ask what it covered.
2. Ask how they'll assess you in the first session. Movement, injury history and goals should come before the first heavy set.
3. Get the price in writing, with the number of sessions, how long the package lasts and what happens if you miss one.
4. Agree how progress will be measured, whether that's weights lifted, a walking time or waist measurements, not just the scale.
5. Check the fit with your day. If your office in Vijay Nagar runs late, an evening-only trainer on the other side of the city won't last.
