How much a personal trainer charges in Aurangabad
Aurangabad, renamed Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with the Union Home Ministry's approval in February 2023, has no published rate card for personal trainers. Trainers set their own prices, and the most complete public record of them is UrbanPro's Aurangabad personal trainer page, last updated on 19 October 2026 with 28 listings. We read it, set aside the listings that clearly weren't fitness rates, and compared what was left with UrbanPro's own guide:
| Measure | Aurangabad figure | Twelve sessions at that rate |
|---|---|---|
| UrbanPro fee guide, one-to-one | ₹500–1,000 an hour | ₹6,000–12,000 |
| UrbanPro's stated Aurangabad average | ₹750 an hour | ₹9,000 |
| Middle of 19 local trainers' own rates | ₹500 an hour | ₹6,000 |
| UrbanPro fee guide, group sessions | ₹400–800 an hour per person | ₹4,800–9,600 |
| MakeMyFitness, live online one-to-one | ₹799 for 45 minutes | ₹7,070 |
So the realistic answer to how much a personal trainer charges in Aurangabad is ₹500 an hour for a typical independent trainer, with experienced or in-demand trainers asking ₹1,000 or more. UrbanPro's national fee table gives Pune ₹500–800 an hour and Mumbai ₹600–1,000, so Aurangabad's middle is about where Pune's is, not noticeably cheaper.
Reading Aurangabad's trainer listings with care
Aurangabad's UrbanPro page needs more cleaning than most before its numbers mean anything. Of the 25 listings shown on 28 October 2026, 22 had an hourly rate, but several of those weren't personal trainer prices:
- Two rates of ₹7,000 and ₹8,000 an hour. Those sit far outside every other figure and read more like monthly package prices typed into an hourly field. If you see a number like that, ask what it covers before you dismiss it or pay it.
- One rate of ₹80 an hour came from a profile whose description is about academic teaching, not fitness.
- Listings from other fields. A handwriting-analysis firm and a Class 12 tutor appeared on the same page without a fitness rate.
- Reviews that tell you little. All 13 reviews behind the page's 5.0 rating were for one trainer and dated February to April 2022.
Leaving those three rates out leaves 19 fitness trainers with believable hourly prices, from ₹200 to ₹1,500. Their median is ₹500 and their average about ₹626, below UrbanPro's stated ₹750. That gap is a useful negotiating fact: if a trainer tells you ₹750 is the going rate in Aurangabad, the trainers actually listed suggest otherwise.
Gym trainer rates across Aurangabad's neighbourhoods
Most trainers on Aurangabad's list simply say Aurangabad, but those who named a locality give a rough map of prices. Here are the 19 believable rates, grouped by price:
| Hourly rate | Trainers | Localities and experience, where listed |
|---|---|---|
| ₹200–499 | 7 | CIDCO N-5, ₹300 (5 years); Mondha Sanjay Nagar, ₹400 (5 years); near the railway station, ₹350 (8 years); four more citywide from ₹200 to ₹499 |
| ₹500–800 | 8 | Garkheda, ₹500 (12 years) and ₹700 (19 years); Kalda Corner, ₹500; CIDCO, ₹700 (2 years); four more citywide at ₹500–800 |
| ₹1,000–1,500 | 4 | Padegaon, ₹1,500 (8 years); Padegaon Nandanvan Colony, ₹1,000 (15 years); two more citywide at ₹1,000 |
Garkheda stands out for value: two trainers with 12 and 19 years listed ₹500 and ₹700, some of the most experienced on the page at middle prices. Padegaon is the opposite, with both of its trainers at ₹1,000 or above. CIDCO shows that experience and price don't always run together: a CIDCO trainer with two years listed ₹700, more than a CIDCO N-5 trainer with five years at ₹300. The lowest rate on the cleaned list, ₹200, came from a trainer with six years listed.
Another marketplace gives a similar picture. FITPASS's guide to gyms in Aurangabad, last updated in July 2025, noted trainers on Superprof with fees starting from ₹787 an hour. That's a secondary report from a year earlier, but it lands in the same ₹500–1,000 band.
Personal training at Aurangabad gyms and chains
Aurangabad's gyms are almost all independent, and they quote personal training at the desk. None of the gyms named in FITPASS's Aurangabad guide published a personal training price, and Gold's Gym's branch list and cult.fit's gym finder showed no Aurangabad centre when we checked in October 2026. That means the big-city figures you'll find online, such as magicpin's May 2026 estimate of ₹18,000–30,000 a month for Gold's Gym personal training in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, don't describe anything you can buy in Aurangabad.
What you'll usually be offered at a local gym is one of two things. A floor trainer, included in membership, shows you the machines and answers questions. A personal trainer, paid extra, plans your sessions and stays with you for each one. Before you pay for the second, ask for the price per session, whether it's the same trainer every time, and whether you can stop after a month. Then add the membership itself: our guide to gym fees in Aurangabad covers what local gyms and passes cost.
A home personal trainer in Aurangabad
UrbanPro's Aurangabad guide prices a trainer at home at ₹500–1,000 an hour, the same as gym sessions, or ₹6,000–12,000 for 12 visits. The catch is distance. A trainer based in Garkheda can cover the colonies around it easily, but a daily 6 AM run to Padegaon or out along the Beed Bypass is another matter, and the further out you live, the fewer trainers will take you on at an ordinary rate.
Aurangabad's hot, dry summer pushes home sessions to the edges of the day, so early-morning and evening slots fill first. Ask a home trainer three things up front: which slot they can hold for you all season, whether they charge for travel, and what happens to a session you have to cancel at short notice.
If you'd rather not depend on anyone's commute, Personal Home Training in Aurangabad is coached live on video at ₹899 a session or ₹8,080 for 12, built around your own space and whatever equipment you have.
Online coaching from Aurangabad: the costs side by side
A live online coach costs about the same as a mid-priced Aurangabad trainer. Our one-to-one sessions are 45 minutes against the hour most local trainers price, so compare by the month, not just the hourly rate:
| Choice | Per session | Month of 12 | Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aurangabad trainer at the median rate | ₹500 | ₹6,000 | 60 minutes |
| Aurangabad trainer at UrbanPro's stated average | ₹750 | ₹9,000 | 60 minutes |
| MakeMyFitness Personal Gym Training | About ₹589 on the plan | ₹7,070 | 45 minutes |
| MakeMyFitness Personal Home Training | About ₹673 on the plan | ₹8,080 | 45 minutes |
| MakeMyFitness Rehab & Recovery, after clearance | About ₹1,010 on the plan | ₹12,121 | 45 minutes |
A coach on video can't spot a heavy lift or physically move your hips into position, so the heaviest work is planned within what you can control alone. A coach on video can watch every rep, correct it live, write the plan and keep you accountable, which is most of what people hire a trainer for. If you're coming back from an injury and your doctor or physiotherapist has cleared you to exercise, Rehab & Recovery in Aurangabad is one-to-one exercise coaching for that stage; it isn't physiotherapy. If you train at a gym already, Personal Gym Training in Aurangabad puts the coach on your phone there. Our prices are the same in every city:
| Program | One session | 4-week plan (12 sessions) | Per session on the plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Personal Gym Training1:1, 45 minutes | ₹799 | ₹7,070 | about ₹589 |
| Personal Home Training1:1, 45 minutes | ₹899 | ₹8,080 | about ₹673 |
| Rehab & Recovery1:1, once a doctor or physio has cleared you | ₹1,299 | ₹12,121 | about ₹1,010 |
| Group ClassesPer person, small group | ₹499 | ₹4,040 | about ₹337 |
Paying less: small-group training in Aurangabad
If ₹6,000–9,000 a month is more than you want to spend, training in a group is the usual way down. UrbanPro's Aurangabad guide puts group sessions at ₹400–800 an hour per person, or ₹4,800–9,600 for 12. That only helps if the group is small enough for the trainer to watch you; at the bottom of that range in a crowded batch, you're paying for a class, not coaching. Ask how many people train in each slot before you join, and whether the trainer adjusts exercises for beginners or for anyone with a sore back or knee.
Our Group Classes in Aurangabad are small live classes on video at ₹499 a person per session, or ₹4,040 for 12, about ₹337 each on the plan, with the coach watching every participant on screen.
Questions that sort Aurangabad trainers quickly
- Is your rate per hour, per session or per month? On Aurangabad's listings, it isn't always clear. Get one number for one session and one for a month.
- Which certificate do you hold? Ask to see it. A recognised personal training qualification is a basic expectation.
- What will we do in the first four weeks? A trainer who can describe a plan, and how they'll make it harder, is better than one who promises a result.
- Where and when can you train me? Locality and slot first, price second; a cheap trainer who can't reach you at 6 AM isn't cheap.
- Can I try one session? UrbanPro shows free demo classes as available in Aurangabad, and a single session tells you more than any rating.
