Personal trainer fees in Bangalore at a glance
Personal trainer fees in Bangalore depend more on who employs the trainer than on the trainer's hour. Nobody publishes an official rate card, so the figures below come from a trainer marketplace, a deals platform's 2026 guide and the gym chains' own pages, all checked on 27 October 2026. Read them as ranges to test against a real quote, not as fixed prices.
| Type of trainer | Listed or estimated price | About 12 sessions a month | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Independent trainer at your gym | ₹500–800 an hour (average ₹650) | ₹6,000–9,600 | UrbanPro, Bangalore |
| Trainer who visits your home | ₹500–800 an hour | ₹6,000–9,600 | UrbanPro, Bangalore |
| Small-group sessions | ₹400–640 an hour per person | ₹4,800–7,680 | UrbanPro, Bangalore |
| Cult.fit personal training | ₹1,500–2,500 a session | About ₹18,000 a month | magicpin, May 2026 |
| Gold's Gym personal training | Not listed by Gold's | ₹18,000–30,000 (Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru together) | magicpin, May 2026 |
| MakeMyFitness, live online 1:1 | ₹799 a session | ₹7,070 for 12 | Our price list |
Two things stand out. The independent rates on UrbanPro and the chain estimates from magicpin are two to three times apart for what is, on paper, the same hour of coaching. And chain packages are paid on top of the gym membership itself, which our guide to gym fees in Bangalore covers separately, branch by branch.
Gym trainer fees in Bangalore, neighbourhood by neighbourhood
UrbanPro is a marketplace where trainers set their own prices. Its Bangalore page listed 1,278 gym and fitness trainers when we checked (page updated 17 October 2026), with an average of ₹650 an hour and a typical range of ₹500–800. The individual listings on the first page were far more spread out than that summary suggests, from ₹333 to ₹2,000 an hour.
| Area the trainer lists | Listed rate per hour |
|---|---|
| HSR Layout (two trainers) | ₹333 and ₹1,500 |
| Hulimavu | ₹500 |
| Jakkur | ₹700 |
| Whitefield | ₹800 |
| Electronic City Phase 1 | ₹1,000 |
| Sadashivnagar | ₹1,250 |
| Indiranagar | ₹1,563 |
| BTM Layout 2nd Stage | ₹2,000 |
Two trainers in the same area, HSR Layout, listed ₹333 and ₹1,500 an hour. Their listings show 4 and 14 years of experience, which explains part of the gap. The rest is usually about what an hour includes: a diet plan or not, weekly check-ins or not, your gym or your living room. Ask what one hour buys before you compare two numbers.
If you want a single figure for the average gym personal trainer cost in Bangalore, UrbanPro's ₹650 an hour is the best available. At three sessions a week, that's about ₹7,800 for 12 sessions in a month.
Cult fit personal trainer cost in Bangalore
Cult.fit is the chain most Bengaluru searches ask about, and its personal training prices are the hardest to pin down. Cult doesn't publish a personal training rate card on its website. magicpin's 2026 guide to trainer costs (updated 8 May 2026) estimates about ₹18,000 a month for Cult.fit personal training in Bangalore, or ₹1,500–2,500 a session depending on the trainer's certification and the centre, and names Koramangala and Indiranagar among them.
What Cult does publish is its membership. Its Bangalore listing page said 300+ centres and showed cultpass ELITE from ₹1,198 a month and cultpass PRO from ₹754 a month on its longest plans. On a Cult gym page in JP Nagar, packs of three months or more came with a free Kickstart Onboarding Pack of two one-to-one trainer sessions. Those two sessions are a no-cost way to see how a Cult trainer works before paying for more.
Gold's Gym and Anytime Fitness trainers in Bengaluru
Gold's Gym lists annual memberships for its Bengaluru branches on its own website, such as Electronic City at ₹28,847 a year before enrolment and GST, but no personal training prices. magicpin estimates ₹18,000–30,000 a month for Gold's Gym personal training across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, without a separate Bengaluru figure. For Anytime Fitness, the same guide gives ₹12,000–20,000 a month as a national range. We couldn't find a published Bengaluru trainer price from either chain, so treat these as the start of a conversation at the front desk.
One practical point: a trainer at a chain branch works that branch's shifts. If your evenings in Whitefield or Bellandur depend on when the last call ends, ask how cancellations and rescheduling work before you buy a monthly package, and whether unused sessions roll over.
Personal trainer at home charges in Bangalore
A trainer who comes to your flat is the closest thing to a private gym, and in Bengaluru it costs about the same per hour as a trainer at your gym. UrbanPro's estimate for training at home in Bangalore is ₹500–800 an hour, or ₹6,000–9,600 for 12 sessions a month. What the number hides is the commute. A trainer covering Sarjapur Road, Bellandur and HSR Layout in one evening spends part of every booking in traffic, which is why home-visit trainers tend to prefer clients close together and are strict about late cancellations.
Gated communities add a step. Security at most Bengaluru apartment complexes logs visitors at the gate, so a regular trainer may need to be registered with the association, and some associations don't allow outside trainers in the clubhouse gym at all. Check your association's rules before agreeing a package.
If you'd rather nobody came to the flat, personal home training in Bengaluru is coached live on video, so there's no visitor at the gate and no travel time on either side.
Online personal trainer in Bangalore: what it costs and what it can't do
Live online coaching is the lowest per-session price for one-to-one attention on this page, and its limits are real. A coach on video can't spot a heavy bench press, physically move your hips in a squat or hand you a lighter dumbbell. If you've never touched a barbell, a few in-person sessions first are money well spent. What an online coach can do is watch every rep through your phone camera, cue you as you move and plan each session around the kit you actually have, whether that's a clubhouse gym in Hebbal or two dumbbells in a JP Nagar bedroom.
| Program | One session | 4-week plan (12 sessions) | Per session on the plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Personal Gym Training1:1, 45 minutes | ₹799 | ₹7,070 | about ₹589 |
| Personal Home Training1:1, 45 minutes | ₹899 | ₹8,080 | about ₹673 |
| Rehab & Recovery1:1, once a doctor or physio has cleared you | ₹1,299 | ₹12,121 | about ₹1,010 |
| Group ClassesPer person, small group | ₹499 | ₹4,040 | about ₹337 |
One-to-one sessions last 45 minutes, slots run from 6 AM to 8 PM every day, and a 4-week plan is three sessions a week. Per session, our ₹589 plan price sits a little under UrbanPro's Bangalore average of ₹650. Per minute it doesn't: at about ₹13 a minute against about ₹11 for a 60-minute independent session, the independent trainer is slightly cheaper. The case for online is no travel and a schedule that bends around work, not a lower hourly rate. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.
Why Bengaluru trainers charge what they do
A trainer's fee has to cover their pay, travel and the gaps between clients. AmbitionBox, which collects salaries reported by employees, puts the average personal trainer salary in Bangalore at about ₹3.7 lakh a year, roughly ₹30,800 a month (page updated October 2026). For a gym-employed trainer, that salary is only part of what a chain charges you; the rest pays for the floor space, the brand and the sales desk. An independent trainer keeps the whole fee, but pays for their own travel, certification and quiet months.
- Distance and traffic. A trainer who can see four clients in one Koramangala tower earns more per working hour than one driving between Whitefield and Banashankari, and prices to match.
- Time of day. The hours before and after office time are the ones everyone wants. Expect less room to negotiate on 6–8 AM and evening slots than on a Tuesday at 11 AM.
- Specialism. Trainers who list injury rehab, sports conditioning or contest preparation usually sit at the top of the range.
- What's bundled. A ₹1,500 rate that includes a diet plan and weekly check-ins is a different product from ₹700 for an hour on the gym floor.
- Package size. Monthly packages lower the per-session price, but sessions you miss are usually lost.
How to check a Bangalore trainer before you pay
- 1
Ask which certificate, then check it
For Indian skill certificates, the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure Skills Council (SPEFL-SC), set up under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, runs a Find a Trainer search on its website. Our guide on how to choose a personal trainer explains the other certificates you'll see in India.
- 2
Take the trial session
UrbanPro shows a free demo class as available for Bangalore trainers, and Cult includes two one-to-one sessions with longer packs. Use them to see whether the trainer asks about injuries, health and goals before handing you a dumbbell.
- 3
Get the package in writing
Number of sessions, minutes per session, the cancellation rule, and whether the fee includes a membership or a diet plan.
- 4
Watch how they correct you
A good trainer stops a set to fix your form and explains why. If they mostly count reps, you're paying for company rather than coaching.
- 5
Agree how progress is tracked
Weights, reps and how you feel, written down each week, with the plan changing as those numbers move.
