How much does a personal trainer cost in Dubai in 2026?

A personal trainer in Dubai costs between AED 200 and AED 600 for a one-to-one gym session, according to ServiceMarket’s Dubai cost guide, last updated on 25 April 2026. The same guide puts a trainer who comes to your home at AED 250–450 a session. Its own listed price for a single general-fitness session at home is AED 269. Yoga and boxing sessions on the same list cost AED 299.

Those ranges are wide because Dubai’s market is split: freelance trainers who come to your villa or tower, and trainers employed by the chains who sell packages at the club. ServiceMarket says experienced or specialist trainers charge above its ranges. None of the three big chains we checked, Fitness First, Gold’s Gym and GymNation, prints a personal training price on its own website, which is why most published figures come from marketplaces.

Read the table as a month of coaching. Three sessions a week with a mid-range home trainer is about AED 3,228 a month, before any travel fee. The same 12 sessions with a coach on live video is AED 818 in your own gym or AED 935 at home.

Why don’t Dubai gyms show their personal training prices?

Dubai’s big chains sell personal training at the club, after a consultation, rather than from a public price list. We checked the personal training pages of Fitness First UAE, Gold’s Gym UAE and GymNation on 28 October 2026. Each describes its packages in detail. None shows a dirham figure for a session.

  • Fitness First UAE sells five packages. The Discovery package is eight one-to-one sessions for members new to personal training. The Rolling package is eight sessions a month. Signature and Premium let you choose 4, 8, 12 or 20 sessions. The Ultimate package bundles a six-month membership with 36 coached sessions.
  • Gold’s Gym UAE sells six packs, from Stronger Start at 5 sessions to Lifestyle Platinum at 60. Every Gold’s membership tier includes two complimentary personal training sessions.
  • GymNation says every new joiner in Dubai gets one free personal training session before deciding on a package.

What does a gym membership cost in Dubai, branch by branch?

GymNation is the one big Dubai chain that publishes membership prices for every branch. Its Core membership, which covers one gym, cost AED 209 a month at all six Dubai branches when we checked on 28 October 2026. Plus, which opens every GymNation, cost AED 240. Signature, which adds HYROX and Blitz classes, cost AED 399 at five branches and AED 449 at Al Quoz.

GymNation’s Dubai landing page also advertises memberships “from AED 99 per month”, a lower entry price than the AED 209 Core rate on each branch page, so ask which offer applies when you join. All six Dubai branches are open 24 hours, and GymNation lists ladies-only gym areas and classes in its Dubai clubs.

Fitness First UAE lists four membership tiers without prices. Home covers one club. Platinum opens 18 Platinum clubs. Titanium adds 12 Titanium clubs on top of those. All Access opens all 33 clubs and adds reformer Pilates, cold plunge and compression therapy. Gold’s Gym UAE offers Home Club, Passport and Signature Passport tiers, also without online prices, and lists ladies-only gyms in Dubai including Al Barsha Mall, Al Hamriyah, Business Village and Etihad Mall.

If you live in a Marina, JLT, Business Bay or Downtown tower with a residents’ gym, you may not need a membership at all. The dumbbells and cable machine you already pay for in the service charge are enough for a full programme, as long as someone is planning the sessions and watching your form.

Is a home personal trainer more expensive than a gym trainer in Dubai?

A home personal trainer in Dubai costs slightly more at the bottom of the range than a gym trainer. ServiceMarket’s April 2026 guide starts home sessions at AED 250, against AED 200 in a gym. Its guide also notes that some home trainers add a travel or setup fee depending on distance and the equipment you need.

Distance matters in Dubai because the city stretches along Sheikh Zayed Road. A freelance trainer based in Al Barsha who also coaches clients in Mirdif and Dubai Silicon Oasis spends much of the day on the road, and that time is in the price. Villa communities such as Arabian Ranches and Mirdif suit a home trainer well, because there is room for kettlebells and a bench. A one-bedroom in JVC or JLT may only fit a mat, which leaves a visiting trainer with little to use.

Training with a partner is the clearest saving on ServiceMarket’s list. A pairs session costs AED 349, which is AED 174.50 each, against AED 269 for one person. If you have a neighbour on the same compound with the same goal, ask any trainer for a pairs rate.

What does a month of training cost in Dubai with each option?

A month of three coached sessions a week costs from AED 818 to AED 7,200 in Dubai, depending on who coaches you and where. This table adds membership where it is part of the cost, using the prices above.

Is online personal training worth it in Dubai?

Online personal training is worth it in Dubai if you can train somewhere with a little floor space and want a coach without paying AED 250 or more a session. MakeMyFitness sessions are live video calls, not recorded workouts: a certified coach watches you through your phone, corrects your form as you move and adjusts the plan to the kit in front of you.

Each one-to-one session lasts 45 minutes. The 4-week plan is 12 sessions, three a week. Sessions run from 4:30 AM to 6:30 PM UAE time all year, because our coaches are based in India and the UAE never changes its clocks. That suits a Dubai day well: before the heat at 5 AM, after the school run at 4 PM, or on a Friday afternoon after the government week ends at noon. You can move a session with 24 hours’ notice, and train from a hotel room when you travel.

Here is the honest limit. A coach on video can’t spot a heavy bench press, can’t hand you a lighter dumbbell and can’t physically move your hips. What they can do is see every rep, cue you in real time, and build sessions around a residents’ gym in JLT or the strip of floor beside your sofa in Al Barsha. Our lead coach, Kumar Abhishek, holds a Diploma in Personal Training and is a Human Performance Nutritionist, both from K11 School of Fitness Sciences, and is certified in TRX Suspension Training. You can read more about Kumar and how he coaches.

What should you check before paying a Dubai personal trainer?

  1. 1

Ask for the package price in writing

Chains in Dubai quote at the club, so ask for the total for 12 sessions, the expiry date and what happens to unused sessions. Compare it with ServiceMarket’s AED 200–600 gym range.

  2. 2

Check the freeze rules before summer

If you travel in July or August, find out whether a package can be paused while you are away, or whether the sessions expire.

  3. 3

Ask about travel fees and building access

ServiceMarket notes that some home trainers add a travel or setup fee. If you live in a tower, check your building’s rules on visitors and on outside trainers using the residents’ gym.

  4. 4

Ask which certificate the trainer holds

Ask where the trainer qualified and in what. A good trainer answers that question directly and doesn’t mind you checking.

  5. 5

    Take the free sessions

Gold’s Gym includes two coached sessions with membership and GymNation includes one. Use them to judge the coaching before you buy.

  6. 6

    Know the cancellation policy

Ask how much notice you need to move a session. Ours is 24 hours; a late cancellation with a chain trainer may cost you the session.

Which kind of Dubai personal trainer suits you?

  • A trainer in person at your gym suits you if you lift heavy and want a spotter, or if you are an absolute beginner who wants hands-on cues for the first few weeks. Budget AED 200–600 a session, plus membership.
  • A home trainer suits a villa in Arabian Ranches or Mirdif with room for equipment, and anyone who will only train if someone rings the doorbell. Budget AED 250–450 a session, or AED 349 shared between two.
  • A chain package at Fitness First or Gold’s Gym suits you if you already belong and want the trainer on the gym floor. Ask the club for the package price first, since neither chain prints it online.
  • MakeMyFitness suits you if you have a tower gym, a home gym or a GymNation membership and want a coach to plan and watch every session for AED 92, with sessions between 4:30 AM and 6:30 PM. We don’t suit you if you need a trainer physically spotting heavy lifts, or if you can only train after 6:30 PM.
