Why women choose online coaching
- Privacy. The session is you and your coach on a video call from your own home. No gym floor, nobody watching, no commute at night.
- Your time, not a timetable. Any half-hour slot from 6 AM to 8 PM IST. Before the house wakes up, during school hours, after work.
- Strength taught properly. The lifts that change how women feel (squats, hinges, presses, rows) are the ones most people never learn. A coach watching every rep teaches them in weeks.
- A plan that respects your life. Periods, a child who's ill, a week of travel: the plan bends. Sessions move with 24 hours' notice.
Strength training won't make you bulky
This is the most common worry and the least founded. Visible bulk takes years of heavy, specific training and eating for it. What two or three strength sessions a week actually do for women is build the muscle that raises resting energy use, protects bones and joints, improves posture and makes daily life easier. The World Health Organization asks all adults for strength work on at least two days a week; for women, bone density after 35 is one more reason. Our guide to strength training for women over 40 covers the evidence.
| Goal | What the coaching does | Program |
|---|---|---|
| Lose weight and keep it off | Strength plus a modest calorie deficit and enough protein; no crash diets | Fat loss |
| Get toned | "Toned" is muscle with less fat over it: the same strength plan, patiently | Muscle building |
| Fix stiffness from sitting | Hip, back and shoulder mobility, then strength to hold the gains | Mobility & flexibility |
| Get strong, full stop | Learn to lift with a coach cueing every rep | Strength training |
PCOS, thyroid, pregnancy and after a baby: what we do and don't do
A coach trains you; a doctor treats you. If you have PCOS, a thyroid condition or another diagnosis, your doctor sets the limits and we train inside them: regular strength and movement are part of most care plans, and your coach will ask what your doctor has said. In pregnancy and after childbirth, we train only with your doctor's clearance and with their guidance on what to avoid; every client answers a short health check before the first session, and that is where to tell us. We don't diagnose, we don't prescribe diets for medical conditions, and we'll say so rather than guess.
About your coach, honestly
Our lead coach is Kumar Abhishek, who holds a Diploma in Personal Training from K11 with distinction and a human performance nutrition credential. Many of his clients are women, and the format, a private video call from your home at a time you choose, is what makes most comfortable. If you would only train with a female coach, tell us when you book: we'll tell you honestly whether we can offer that rather than promise it here.
What your first session is like
- 1
Book, and take the call
Choose Personal Home Training, answer four short questions about your goal, space and activity level, and pick a slot. The team calls to confirm.
- 2
Set up in a corner of a room
A mat's worth of floor, your phone propped two metres away. Nobody else is on the call.
- 3
Move, with a coach watching
A warm-up, then three or four basic movements at your level, coached rep by rep. Forty-five minutes.
- 4
Leave with a plan
Two or three things to practise, and the next slot. Progress is gradual on purpose.
Training with friends instead
If you'd rather have company, our live group classes put you and the people you choose, friends, sisters, neighbours, colleagues, on one video call with one coach, at ₹499 per person a class. Everyone works at their own level; nobody is compared.
