Personal Trainer Cost in Ajman, 2026: What the Numbers Show and Where They Run Out

There is no published personal training price for Ajman. We looked on 28 October 2026 and found no marketplace cost guide, no chain rate card and no government survey that gives a dirham figure for a one-to-one session in the emirate. ServiceMarket, the UAE home-services marketplace, publishes cost guides for Dubai and for Abu Dhabi, but we found none for Ajman or Sharjah.

That gap matters, because Ajman is not simply a cheaper copy of Dubai. Its 582,852 residents (Ajman Statistics Center’s 2024 count, as reported on Wikipedia) live mostly in towers and low-rise blocks in Al Nuaimiya, Al Rashidiya, Al Jurf and Ajman Downtown, and the gym scene is made up largely of independent and ladies-only clubs. So the honest approach is to show the nearest published figures, say which emirate each comes from, and let you judge.

What a personal trainer costs near Ajman: the published figures and where they apply (checked 28 October 2026)

Treat the Dubai figures as a ceiling rather than a quote. A freelance trainer who lives in Ajman and coaches in Ajman may charge less than one crossing from Al Barsha. One who drives up from Dubai for you will probably charge Dubai rates, because ServiceMarket notes that some home trainers add a travel or setup fee depending on distance. Ask for a written price before the first session.

Ajman has fewer big-chain gyms than Dubai or Sharjah, and the chains that do publish prices sit across the border. GymNation listed no Ajman club when we checked on 28 October 2026. Its three Sharjah clubs, at Sharjah Central Mall, Mega Mall and City Centre Al Zahia, each run a men’s gym and a separate ladies’ gym, open 24 hours.

GymNation’s Sharjah hub page also advertises memberships “from AED 99 per month”, below the AED 209 Core price shown on each branch page, so ask which offer applies on the day you join. By the map coordinates on GymNation’s own page, its Sharjah Central Mall club sits about 8 km south of central Ajman, across the emirate line.

Gold’s Gym UAE’s personal training page lists clubs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, and none in Ajman. Fitness First UAE’s membership page describes four tiers, from a single Home club to All Access across 33 clubs, without naming an Ajman club or showing a price.

What do ladies’ gyms in Ajman cost?

Ladies’ gyms in Ajman typically charge AED 300–600 a month, according to Property Finder’s guide to the emirate’s women’s gyms, published on 8 January 2025. The guide names Fitness Time Ladies near Ajman Stadium in Al Rashidiya, Virago Ladies Fitness in Al Tallah 2, iGym Body Fitness in Sara Plaza in Al Jurf 2, Fahima Fitness Centre in Al Owais Tower in Al Nakhil 2, The Gym Ladies in Al Raqaib 1 and FitNation Ladies Gym in Shurooq Mall, Al Rawda 2.

None of those clubs prints a fee on Property Finder’s page, and the guide gives no personal training prices, though it says Fitness Time Ladies and Virago both offer trainers. If you already pay AED 300–600 a month for a women-only floor, adding Personal Gym Training gives you a coach without adding a second membership. You train where you feel comfortable; your coach watches through the phone you prop on a bench.

What would three months of coaching cost an Ajman resident?

Three months of coaching at three sessions a week is 36 sessions. In Ajman that costs anywhere from AED 1,404 to AED 16,200, depending on whether you hire a visiting trainer at Dubai rates, keep a membership, or train live online. The figures below multiply the published prices above; nothing in them is a quote.

Is online personal training worth it for someone living in Ajman?

Online personal training is worth it in Ajman if you can clear a mat’s worth of floor and want structured coaching without Dubai rates or a drive to Sharjah. MakeMyFitness sessions are live: the coach sees you through your phone camera, counts and corrects each rep, and changes the plan if your knee complains or the dumbbells in your building gym only go to 12 kg.

One-to-one sessions last 45 minutes, and the 4-week plan is 12 of them, three a week. You can book from 4:30 AM to 6:30 PM UAE time on any day. That window exists because our coaches are in India, an hour and a half ahead of Ajman, and it suits a commuter’s day: a session at 5 AM before the drive, at 3:30 PM after the school run, or on a Friday afternoon. Give us 24 hours’ notice and we move a session, including when you travel and want to train from a hotel room.

The coaching is led by Kumar Abhishek, a K11 School of Fitness Sciences graduate with a Diploma in Personal Training and a Human Performance Nutritionist qualification, plus a certification in TRX Suspension Training. Read about how Kumar coaches. What video can’t do is put a hand on the bar: if you want someone spotting a heavy bench press, hire a trainer in the room.

Rehab & Recovery is a different case. It is exercise coaching after a doctor or physio has cleared you, not treatment. Zavis, a UAE healthcare directory, gives an indicative range of AED 150–500 for a physiotherapy session in Ajman; you would still see a physio first, then use our AED 150 sessions to rebuild strength between appointments.

Before you pay an Ajman trainer: six questions to ask

Discuss your goals, qualifications and session details before choosing a coach.
Discuss your goals, qualifications and session details before choosing a coach.
  1. Where are you based? A trainer living in Ajman can see you without crossing the Sharjah traffic. One coming from Dubai may add a travel fee, as ServiceMarket warns.
  2. What is the total for 12 sessions, in writing? With no published Ajman rate, a written quote is the only figure you can compare with Dubai’s AED 3,000–5,400 for 12 home sessions.
  3. Can my tower’s gym be used? Some buildings keep residents’ gyms for residents only. Check with building management before you agree to train there with an outside trainer.
  4. Is a female trainer available? If you train at a ladies’ gym in Al Jurf or Al Rashidiya, ask whether the trainer is on staff there or visits.
  5. What happens in Ramadan and in summer? Ask whether sessions can move to suhoor or pre-iftar hours, and whether a package freezes if you travel in July and August.
  6. Where did you qualify? Ask what certificate the trainer holds and from whom. A trainer worth hiring answers without hesitation.

  • A visiting trainer suits you if you have a villa in Al Mowaihat or Al Hamidiya with space and equipment, and want someone at the door. Expect Dubai-like rates of AED 250–450 a session until you have a written Ajman quote.
  • GymNation in Sharjah suits you if you pass Sharjah Central Mall or City Centre Al Zahia on the commute and want a big floor open 24 hours for AED 209 a month, with one free trainer session to start.
  • A ladies’ gym in Ajman suits women who want a women-only floor close to home, at about AED 300–600 a month.
  • MakeMyFitness suits you if you want a coach planning and watching every session for AED 92 to AED 104, in your flat, tower gym or ladies’ gym, between 4:30 AM and 6:30 PM. It doesn’t suit you if you need a spotter for maximal lifts or can only train late at night.
